The Edinburgh Dungeon

I always wondered how it could be to live in those dark and sinister times of the 1500. You know, the plagues sweeping nation after nation and so on. There is something that would appeal to me in reliving those days and I have to tell you that I have discovered the way to do that.

I just returned from the trip to Edinburgh Dungeon, one of the most sinister museums I have ever seen. Naturally, the museum of torture was worse but this one is close to it though.

The Edinburgh Dungeon is simply a set of 11 (I think) actor led presentations plus some installations and the typical stuff you can find in a museum. I didn’t see the whole thing, I have to admit but from what I saw it is really well done and the three presentations I went to really scared the hell out of me (no pun intended).

The Beatles’ Liverpool

There’s a lots of things the city of Liverpool is often renowned for, a football team being amongst them. Nevertheless, in the eyes of several it is the fabulous four that made this vibrant and colorful city. The Beatles’ heritage is heavily baked into Liverpool. From their family properties to the Cavern Club where they performed their first notes attaining speedy following, Liverpool is stuffed with historical places concerning this celebrated music group. 5 launching soon pages I found recently 

My company recently launched a new website. During the process though we decided to skip one thing we used 2 years ago, a launching soon page.

The reason was very simple. Those pages are not as simple to create as they might seem and both myself and my business partner felt that we might not hit the mark with it.

My recent top 5+ one page sites out there

I write quite often about the site’s structure, how it’s navigation should be planned and structured and many other elements. But sometimes you probably just want to get away from it all and design a site that does one thing only, just carries the message. A site with no menus, no complicated structure, just one page and the message on it.

And as easy as they seem I find one page sites one of the most difficult ones to create. Mainly because there is only a message on them and you have no tools like additional pages to make the message clearer.
